Irish Proclamation Plaque etched in brass and mounted on local windfell elm. Surrounding the plaque are 7 discs etched with the heads of the 7 signatories who signed the Easter Proclamation in 1916. A handcrafted gift to commemorate Irish heritage. The Proclamation of the Republic (Irish: Forógra na Poblachta), also known as the 1916 Proclamation or the Easter Proclamation, was a document issued by the Irish Volunteers and the Irish Citizen Army during the Easter Rising in Ireland, which began on 24 April 1916. The 7 signatories were executed in 1916.

Crsfted in West Cork, size approx 30 cm by 40 cm by 4cm. The solid brass document is an exact duplicate of the original, polished to a high sheen. The timber is locally sourced windfell elm that was crafted on site, a beautiful piece of West Cork to enhance this quality gift from Ireland.
